Deep Tissue MassageDeep Tissue, also called Neuromuscular Massage, is a massage that focuses on the deeper layers of the skin and muscle tissue by applying deep/firm pressure to relax, lengthen, and release holding patterns found in the body.  The goals of this massage are to alleviate pain, bring about better posture, increase relaxation, and create more flexibility and fluid movement in the body.

Hot Stone Therapy

Hot Stone TherapyHot Stone Therapy incorporates the use of warm basalt stones with therapeutic massage.  The warm stones melt away muscle soreness by increasing blood circulation and softening muscle tissue.  The stones have a sedative effect that brings relief from chronic pain while simultaneously promoting deep relaxation.

Hot Stone Therapy is available for 60 or 90 minutes, or as an add-on* to another form of massage of your choice.

Integrative Massage

Integrative MassageIntegrative Massage is a customized massage that integrates multiple modalities in order to work on specific needs of your individual body. Individual goals of relaxation, flexibility, and movement are achieved through identifying how the body responds to different techniques. Follow up treatments help to create a more effective protocol for future massage sessions.

Pre-Natal Massage

Prenatal MassagePre-Natal Massage is a great massage for expecting mothers.  Beginning at 22 weeks through the rest of pregnancy, massage techniques are used in a side lying position to help alleviate discomfort, improve circulation, maintain flexibility and relax the mind and body.

Reflexology

Reflexology MassageReflexology Massage is based on the Ingham method.  It is believed that the body is reflected on the hands and feet.  Pressure is applied to certain zones or areas on the hands and feet to stimulate corresponding areas in the body.

Swedish MassageSwedish Massage is one of the most commonly known massage modalities.  It focuses on full body relaxation and stress relief by using long fluid effleurage strokes and gentle movements to slowly calm the mind and relax the body.
